Q: My girlfriend of 3 months wants to role play in the bedroom. No biggie. I'm down for just about anything. I have been holding back with her because she seems kinds mellow, so it is a nice surprise. But here's the kicker. She wants me to dress up like a nurse. A FEMALE nurse. I don't mind playing doctor, but if she wants a guy to have sex with that wears a skirt and a wig, she's got the wrong guy. How do I tell her that I want to get freaky, just not that freaky without making her think I'm some kinda prude?

A: Ok, so I'm thinking either you're not that observant of a guy, or this girl's gone from zero to porno in 3.8 seconds. And I must say I'm more than a little curious to know what's been going on for the last three months that would make you think she is "mellow." Because this isn't something you bust out on a ho-hum date.

Dude: you gotta lay out the cards face up on this one. Without appearing shocked, you casually talk about the things you like and she likes, gradually working up to a conversation involving the specifics of the whole female nurse to patient idea. What is it about this scenario that she digs? Can she dig the same scenario only with a dude? Would a stand-in chick be acceptable? A nurse to take the "vitals" and a doctor to administer the "medicine?"

Unless you ask, you'll never know. And don't count yourself out of this one just yet. You may just be the luckiest male nurse wearing a blonde wig ever to walk the planet earth....
